We are currently seeking a PowerBI Developer in Warren, New Jersey to join our team in Warren, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

This is a permanent, full-time, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

1. Develop reports and dashboards on Power BI
2. Build Analysis Services reporting models
3. Write complex DAX functions in Power BI
4. Work on all types of transformations that are commonly used in Power BI Query editor
5. Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
6. Connect data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence
7. Analyze business problems to determine the best way to apply BI capabilities to deliver solutions
8. Maintain and grow knowledge of enterprise data assets and data-centric business processes
9. Design methodology and project documentation

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Minimum six years’ experience as a Power BI Developer
• Minimum two years' experience in data-specific roles

Other Desired Qualifications:

• Excellent understanding of data models in Power BI
• Understanding of row-level security in Power BI
• Experience embedding Power BI into applications
• Experience using DirectQuery & Import options in Power BI and ability to decide when to choose one over the other
• Knowledge of Microsoft BI Stack
• Software development skills
• Good communication skills to discuss requirements effectively with client and internal teams
• Ability to implement row-level security and understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
• Proficiency in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop
• Expertise in using advanced calculations on datasets
• Ability to develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards
