We are currently seeking a Power BI Developer - Warren, New Jersey to join our team in Warren, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Position: Power BI Sr. Consultant & Azure Data Lake

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

1. Develop reports and dashboards on Power BI
2. Build Analysis Services reporting models
3. Write complex DAX functions in Power BI
4. Work on all types of transformations commonly used in Power BI Query Editor
5. Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI Desktop
6. Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business problems to determine the best way to apply BI capabilities to deliver solutions. Maintain and grow knowledge of enterprise data assets and data-centric business processes. Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Minimum six years’ experience as a Power BI Developer
• Minimum two years' experience in data-specific roles

Other Desired Qualifications:

• Excellent understanding of data models in Power BI
• Excellent understanding of row-level security in Power BI
• Experience embedding Power BI into applications
• Experience using DirectQuery & Import options in Power BI and ability to decide when to choose one over the other
• Knowledge of Microsoft BI Stack
• Strong data analytics skills
• Software development skills
• Excellent communication skills to effectively discuss requirements with clients and internal teams

• Ability to implement row-level security and understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
• Expertise in creating advanced DAX queries in Power BI Desktop
• Proficiency in developing tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards
