Job summary

SandTech Solutions is seeking a Power BI Data Analyst with active DoD TS/SCI clearance to design and deliver advanced BI reports. You will build dashboards, connect to diverse data sources, and convert large datasets into actionable intelligence for decision makers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Power BI and SQL experience, with proficiency in SSIS and enterprise BI platforms, and the ability to support DoD data governance and security requirements.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of relevant Data Engineering and BI analytics experience on large-scale programs
• 5+ years hands-on Power BI report building experience
• 5+ years creating reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights
• 5 years with SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• 3+ years of SQL/Kusto/Cosmos and BI visualization tools use

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test moderate to complex Power BI reports using SQL Server and SSIS.
• Connect to and visualize data on a scalable BI platform to enable self-service and enterprise insights.
• Bridge data and decision-making to drive business outcomes.
• Create insightful reports and dashboards tailored to KPIs and branding.
• Provide fast, AI-powered answers to business questions using natural language queries.

• Active Department of Defense TS/SCI Clearance

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering and Business Analytics or related field working on large-scale complex programs focused on Data Integration & Analytics.
• 5+ years hands on experience in building reports using PowerBi
• 5+ years of experience creating reports, dashboards, and or summarizing large amounts of data into actionable intelligence to drive business decisions required.
• 5 years of experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySql, or PostgreSQL.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with Query languages (SQL, Kusto, Cosmos, etc.) and reporting visualization technologies such as Power BI.
