Job summary

JANUS Research Group is seeking a Power Platform specialist with an active SECRET clearance to join our agile team in the United States. You will develop and support MS PowerApps and related components (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Dynamics 365), delivering secure, scalable applications.

The role requires strong collaboration, leadership in design and testing, and adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities

Job description

Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and verify, before applying, that you meet the minimum requirements of the position.

Target salary range: $90k - $95k. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

• Develop and provide application development expertise and support on MS PowerApps
• Build and test high quality, efficient, and maintainable applications to automate manual processes.
• Gathering and understanding of the client requirements and proposed application enhancements.
• Help build and maintain best practice adoption and usage throughout the development process, including proper execution of exception handling, metric reporting, use of global variables, and other 'wrapper' techniques.
• Leading and participating in the design, development, and testing of all applications.
• Collaborating, and coordinating with multiple application teams with PowerApps (automation development, best practices, lessons learned, etc.).
• Experience implementing various Microsoft Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Dynamics 365.
• Work in an agile environment and provide technical leadership to the team throughout all agile ceremonies.
• Serve as a lead to help guide our clients to effectively use the Microsoft Power Platform with best practices and methodologies.

At a minimum you should have:

• A current SECRET clearance.
• Experience using MS PowerApps and other applications within the MS Power Platform
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle Management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
