Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Maintenance/Power Washing Technician in New Jersey to back-up and support the maintenance team across multiple garages. The role blends hands-on maintenance with customer service while adhering to maintenance standards and policies.

The ideal candidate is English-proficient, proactive, able to follow safety rules, and hold a valid driver’s license with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Proactive with strong personal drive and leadership by example.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions and work orders.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and policies regarding professionalism, uniforms and grooming.
• Note and report safety conditions relating to equipment or the place of employment.
• Analyze and resolve work problems; assist coworkers in solving problems.
• Process and carry out maintenance work order forms and requests.
• Report completed/uncompleted work to Operations Manager daily.
• Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.

The Spirit of the Position

The Maintenance/Power washing Technician will provide back-up and be responsible for supporting the maintenance team in various garages throughout New Jersey. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a combination of hands-on maintenance and customer service, while following maintenance and operational compliance.

Principal Job Description

• Follow the Company Standard Operating Procedures as well as policies regarding professionalism, uniforms, and grooming standards.
• Note and report any safety condition relating to equipment or place of employment.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, assist co-workers in solving work problems.
• Process and carry out maintenance work order forms/requested.
• Report all completed/uncompleted work performed to Operations Manager daily.
• Assist with keeping an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment's.

Requirements
