Job summary

LAZ Parking in New York is seeking a Maintenance/Power Washing Technician to back up the maintenance team across multiple garages in the city. This role blends hands-on upkeep with customer service while ensuring compliance with safety and operations standards.

You will follow SOPs, report safety concerns, manage work orders, and help keep supplies organized. The position requires English fluency, a valid driver's license, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Must be proactive with strong personal drive, people person and must be willing to lead by example.
• License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Company Standard Operating Procedures as well as policies regarding professionalism, uniforms, and grooming standards.
• Note and report any safety condition relating to equipment or place of employment.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, assist co-workers in solving work problems.
• Process and carry out maintenance work order forms/requested.
• Report all completed/uncompleted work performed to Operations Manager daily.
• Assist with keeping an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.

The Spirit of the Position:

The Maintenance/Power washing Technician will provide back-up and be responsible for supporting the maintenance team in various garages throughout New York. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a combination of hands-on maintenance and customer service, while following maintenance and operational compliance.

Principal Job Description:

• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
