Job summary

Global Investment Bank in New York is seeking an Associate to join its Power, Utilities & Infrastructure Investment Banking team. You will work on M&A and strategic advisory transactions across power, utilities and energy infrastructure with senior bankers and a lean team.

The role offers meaningful execution responsibility, exposure to live deals, complex financial modelling, and the opportunity to develop in a high-quality, global platform.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated investment banking experience with M&A exposure.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Proven M&A or transaction execution experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and review complex financial and M&A models.
• Perform valuation analysis across public and private companies.
• Support the execution of buy-side, sell-side and strategic advisory assignments.
• Conduct company, industry and market analysis.
• Prepare client presentations, transaction materials and internal memoranda.
• Coordinate diligence and transaction processes.
• Work with senior bankers and clients on live transactions.
