We are representing a leading global investment bank that is continuing to invest aggressively in its Power, Utilities & Infrastructure investment banking platform in New York.
The group has expanded rapidly in recent years and is now looking to add an Associate to a lean, high-performing team with an exceptionally strong pipeline of live M&A and strategic advisory assignments.
This is an opportunity to join a platform with the deal flow, senior banker pedigree and momentum of a leading franchise, while still offering Associates meaningful responsibility and exposure to senior clients.
The team has grown significantly and today includes four Managing Directors alongside a deep bench of VPs, Associates and Analysts, with further hiring underway.

You will work directly alongside senior bankers with backgrounds at several of the world's leading investment banking franchises.
The group remains relatively lean despite its growing deal pipeline, creating substantial opportunity for high-performing Associates to take on responsibility early.
As an Associate, you will play a central role in the execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions across the Power & Utilities sector.

We are particularly interested in candidates currently operating at the Associate 2 or Associate 3 level, although strong recently promoted Analysts and other experienced Associates will also be considered.
The most important requirement is technical strength.
You should have:
Prior Power & Utilities experience is preferred, particularly exposure to power generation or energy infrastructure, although exceptional candidates from adjacent investment banking sectors will be considered.
Indicative historical compensation levels for the platform have been above-market, ranging from $285-400K in total cash compensation for Associate 1-3’s.
Base salaries have historically ranged from approximately $175k to $225k, depending on level and experience.
There is some flexibility for exceptional candidates. The bank can also consider bonus buyouts.
