GM Performance Power Units LLC is seeking a Power Unit Assembly Specification Coordinator to define, control, and release build specifications for Formula 1 Power Unit assemblies at the Concord, NC facility.

You will act as the configuration focal point among Program Management, Engineering, Design, Assembly, Testing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure builds meet FIA requirements and homologated definitions.

Qualifications

Experience in configuration management and BOM control in motorsport or aerospace.
Ability to translate requirements into build definitions.
Strong attention to traceability and quality standards.

Responsabilités

Define and maintain the assembly specifications for complete major ICE/ERS assemblies.
Translate priorities into unambiguous build definitions for each unit.
Ensure correct part numbers, revisions, quantities, serialized components, and configurations.
Coordinate definition and material readiness for each build specification.
Assess impact of engineering changes on active and planned specifications.
Prepare and lead configuration and specification reviews, highlighting risks.
Maintain the digital thread and ensure consistency between BOMs, shop orders, and as-built records.
Verify design changes and deviations are approved before release.
