Job summary

Irby Construction Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quanta Services, seeks a Project Manager to lead high-voltage transmission and distribution projects in Louisiana, overseeing multiple crews, ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in powerline construction, strong OSHA code knowledge, and proven leadership, planning, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. 100% travel to project sites in LA will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, construction management, engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 3 years in powerline construction with strong OSHA code knowledge.
• Ability to lead multiple crews and manage all project execution phases.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Construction Planning: attend meetings, review bids, interpret drawings, develop schedules, assign foremen.
• Project Planning & Management: monitor budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, submittals, RFIs.
• Construction Execution: ensure quality, safety, and contractor coordination; support change orders.
• Contract Administration: negotiate revisions with suppliers, align with policies.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain records, generate progress reports, present updates.
