SGB-SMIT USA, a division of the SGB-SMIT Group, designs and manufactures power, distribution, and cast-resin transformers for data centers, industry, and e-mobility. The role focuses on drafting, design support, and interfacing with engineering and quotation teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

The work emphasizes CAD-based drawings and collaboration with shop personnel to meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Formación

• Associates degree or equivalent drafting experience with CAD proficiency.
• Experience with CAD software and mechanical drawings required.
• Ability to review customer specifications and translate into manufacturing drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Design and provide technical support, manufacturing instructions, and drawings for Power Transformers.
• Prepare mechanical designs using Auto-Cad meeting standards, codes and customer requirements.
• Review customer specifications and drawings to determine manufacturing needs.
• Review one-line diagrams to identify necessary changes for customer specs.
• Provide technical support for shop floor personnel on manufacturing and mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve problems and develop cost-effective methods.
• Interface with quotation teams to guide and advise on design changes.
