Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Power Trader in Houston to execute both physical and financial power trades across regional ISO/RTO markets. You will develop and manage trading strategies for day-ahead, real-time, and forward markets, while monitoring market fundamentals to inform decisions.

Qualifications

Experience with executing physical and financial power trades across ISO/RTO markets.
Knowledge of day-ahead, real-time, and forward power markets.
Understanding of market fundamentals and risk management.
Familiarity with regulatory developments (FERC, NERC, ISO tariffs).

Responsibilities

Execute physical and financial power trades across regional ISO/RTO markets.
Develop and manage trading strategies for day-ahead, real-time, and forward power markets.
Monitor market fundamentals to inform trading decisions.
Manage position risk and P&L within defined risk limits.
Collaborate with scheduling, risk management, and origination teams on deal execution.
Maintain relationships with counterparties and market participants.
Ensure accurate trade capture, confirmation, and settlement processes.
