Talisman is seeking a Senior Power Trader to lead a high-performing desk within a well-established hedge fund in the United States. You will oversee short-term and term trading, develop strategies across major ISO markets, and drive profitable outcomes.

The role requires proven leadership, deep market knowledge, and ability to mentor traders and analysts while collaborating with senior leadership on capital allocation and technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading a power trading desk across ISO markets.
• Proven P&L generation in North American power trading.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and congestion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the power trading desk with a focus on short-term and term trading.
• Develop, implement, and refine trading strategies across ISO markets (PJM, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO, NYISO).
