Job summary

Burns & McDonnell seeks an Energy & Utilities Analyst to support power system studies for fossil and renewable generation, and delivery networks including planning, cost analyses, and investment evaluations. This role will work under supervision of a consultant or project manager and contribute to client projects in Houston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, business, finance, or related field.
• Basic engineering and financial concepts knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes engineering, financial and economic conditions to support client projects.
• Assists with life-cycle cost analyses and economic forecasts.
• Supports power system planning, studies and regulatory assessments.
• Prepares technical reports and client presentations.
• Contributes to project teams and delivers outputs under supervision.
