Job summary

Forgent Power seeks a Technical Support Engineer to act as the primary escalation point for advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis of complex equipment issues. You will guide remote and on-site troubleshooting, translate technical findings into actionable solutions, and collaborate with the support and engineering teams to drive permanent corrective actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) is preferred.
3–5+ years in technical support, field service, commissioning, or product support within industrial electrical systems.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and BOMs.

Responsibilities

Advanced Diagnostics & Root Cause Analysis for complex equipment issues.
Lead complex technical investigations and drive permanent corrective actions.
Serve as the primary escalation point for Tier 1+ issues and own resolutions.
Collaborate with Technical Support, Warranty, Field Service and Engineering teams.
Document technical root causes and resolutions in Salesforce for knowledge sharing.
