Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking an experienced System Reliability and Compliance Engineer/Specialist (NERC) to support internal stakeholders and external clients with NERC FAC and PRC studies, using data from system protection, substation, and SCADA.

The successful candidate will work under guidance to support transmission, substation, and generation projects. The role includes audits, tracking NERC aspects of projects, answering technical questions, and writing bid

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, or mathematics preferred.
• 5+ years direct experience in electrical power, generation, or transmission/substations.
• Experience with NERC compliance related to System Protection and Substation Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organization and planning; able to work in a team; strives for quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop NERC FAC and PRC studies using design and testing data from protection, substation, and SCADA.
• Support audits and manage/track various NERC aspects of projects.
• Answer technical questions and assist with bids, proposals, and estimates.
