Job summary

SEL Engineering Services, Inc. (SEL-ES) is seeking a Power Systems Project Manager/Project Engineer II for its St. Louis area office.

You will lead full lifecycle management of large multi-discipline projects, coordinate with customers, and guide teams from proposal to close-out. Travel up to 25% regionally, with emphasis on mentoring and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires 4+ years in electric power project management, strong communication, and a PE license or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience related to electric power systems.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to travel regionally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Full life-cycle project management of multiple large multi-discipline projects from proposal conception to commissioning and close-out.
• Tracking and stabilizing projects, implementing solutions for obstacles, and anticipating customer needs related to SEL products.
• Train and assist customers with design configuration, validations, installation, commissioning and operation of automation and/or protection systems.
• Travel regionally up to 25%.
• Assigning, completing, and implementing work within agreed scope, schedule, and budget to a high level of quality and safety.
