Job summary

SEL Engineering Services, Inc. (SEL-ES) seeks a Power Systems Project Manager to lead full life-cycle management of large, multi-discipline projects from proposal through commissioning and close-out, with focus on safety and quality. Travel regionally up to 25%, mentor staff, and collaborate across marketing, sales, application engineering, and development.

A PE license (or equivalent) and 4+ years of PM experience are required. Location: Fairview Heights, IL, near St.

Qualifications

4+ years of project management experience in electric power systems.
Professional Engineer License or equivalent.
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
Willingness to travel regionally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Full life-cycle project management of large multi-discipline projects from proposal conception to commissioning and close-out.
Tracking and stabilizing projects, implementing solutions for obstacles, and anticipating customer needs related to SEL products.
Train and assist customers with design, configuration, validations, installation, commissioning and operation of automation and/or protection systems.
Travel regionally a maximum of 25%.
Assigning, completing, and implementing work within scope, schedule, and budget with high quality and safety.
