Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Power Systems Project Manager, Data Center Focus, to own program plans for data center and mission-critical power projects. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams from feasibility through construction, coordinating with substation engineering and interconnection to deliver integrated solutions.

You will serve as the primary client contact, guiding developers and investors, while building proposals and supporting business development in the data center segment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and subconsultants.
• Experience leading data center, mission-critical, or large-load engagements is preferred.
• Ownership of project scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Own project plans, schedules, and budgets for data center and mission-critical power engagements.
• Serve as the primary client contact for developers, investors, and agencies.
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination across substation design, protection, and interconnection.
• Manage subconsultants, vendors, and contract administration.
• Support early-stage feasibility studies and master planning for pre-investment sites.
• Identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Lead preparation of proposals, fee estimates, and client presentations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

PE license (preferred)

PMP certification (plus)
