Job summary

AMETEK Solidstate Controls (SCI) invites a Project Engineer to coordinate with clients and internal teams to implement UPS, battery chargers, batteries, and supporting equipment for SCI products in customer applications. You will drive engineering collaboration across sales, quoting, design, manufacturing and service.

The role requires a technical background, leadership, and strong communication to manage multiple projects with regulatory and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical/electronics industry.
• Understanding of UPS, battery chargers, and power distribution.
• Technology-centric with significant customer interaction.
• Leadership to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to project team by applying electrical engineering principles.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, drawings, manuals, and reports.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and contractors for project execution.
• Identify design/installation risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead and motivate the engineering project team.
• Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance throughout projects.
