The Project Engineer is an energetic, experienced professional who will coordinate with clients as well as members of the sales, quoting, design, manufacturing, and service teams to implement UPS, battery chargers, batteries, and supporting equipment for SCI products in customer applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Understand industrial electrical engineering principles, practices, and standards; provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documents such as reports, specifications, drawings, manuals; ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Coordination: Communicate with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution; facilitate collaboration and resolve issues.
- Risk Management: Identify design or installation risks, assess impact, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor progress to implement corrective measures.
- Engineering Leadership: Lead and motivate the engineering project team.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes; coordinate inspections and tests to verify compliance and address non‑conformities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technology‑centric background with significant customer interaction; minimum 3 years’ experience in the electrical or electronics industry; familiarity with UPS, battery chargers, and power distribution systems.
- Leadership skills to oversee multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
- High intellect, inquisitive, leadership potential, desire to introduce new concepts and methods.
- Strong project organization, communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
- Effective computer skills: Microsoft Office, MS Project.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; electrical engineering specialization preferred.

- Ability to read one‑line diagrams.

Compensation

- Salary Range: $90,000 – $115,000 (annual, USD)
