Power Systems West in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Application Engineer to provide engineering support and technical expertise from design through commissioning and closeout. Responsibilities include acting as the liaison between PSW, engineers, contractors and internal teams; managing key projects from submittal to completion; conducting site visits; and delivering technical presentations to clients.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 4–6 years of experience are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as engineering liaison between PSW, consulting engineers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Manage assigned key technical projects from submittal to completion, coordinating with sales, service, and operations.
• Conduct site visits for design review, equipment delivery, training, and startup oversight.
• Collaborate with consulting engineers to influence system design and promote Rehlko products.
• Deliver technical and product presentations to clients, both in-person and virtually.
• Prepare budgetary proposals and support sales team with accurate technical information.
• Use Rehlko Power Solutions software for generator sizing and specification development.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including submittals, drawings, and closeout packages.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
• Create and revise project-specific drawings and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Provide technical support and training for customers and internal staff.
• Estimate, track, and manage project costs, ensuring profitability.
• Represent PSW at trade shows and industry events.
