Job summary

EECO is seeking a Power Modernization Solution Architect in Raleigh, NC to generate project demand for low and medium voltage power systems and related services. You will assess equipment and deliver modernization solutions in collaboration with suppliers, consultants, and internal teams.

The role covers medium/low voltage switchgear, motor control, power monitoring, electrical studies, and networked communications. Strong engineering background and client-facing capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of industrial communication networks and protocols.
• Understanding of protection relay schemes, relay settings calculations & coordination, short circuit analysis, load flow, voltage profile, motor starting voltage drop, and cable sizing.
• Familiarity with electrical drawings including One-lines, P&IDs, wiring schematics, equipment specs and data sheets.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL-508, IEEE codes and site safety requirements.
• Five years of project experience in discrete and process industrial environments.
• Five years of experience with LV/MV motor control systems and distribution.
• Five years of direct customer relationship skills and technical proposal development.
• BS in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Eaton Bidmanager configuration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of modernization solutions for power distribution systems.
• Maintain knowledge to support program capabilities and risk management.
• Coordinate activities with partners, suppliers and customers to meet requirements.
• Develop relationships with consulting and contractor communities.
• Drive proposals to decision and revenue targets.
