Job summary

Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) seeks a Power Modernization Solution Architect to drive project demand for MV and LV power distribution systems in Raleigh, NC. The role collaborates with suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to deliver modernization solutions.

The position emphasizes developing modernization plans, proposals, and presentations, and maintaining client relationships to close opportunities and achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications

• 5 years of applied project experience in discrete and process industrial environments.
• 5 years experience with low and medium voltage motor control systems.
• 5 years experience with low and medium voltage power distribution systems.
• 5 years direct customer relationship skills; including needs assessment, development of technical proposals, presentations, and driving decisions to closure.
• BS in electrical engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Eaton Bidmanager configuration application.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of solutions, understanding shifting customer requirements, industry trends, competitors, market level prices, and economic conditions.
• Coordinate project and related activities with external partners, suppliers, and customers to deliver solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Engender key vendor support, establishing relationships beyond the sales channel and with operating product/service units.
• Develop relationships with consulting and contractor community, collaborating on end user market objectives.
• Maintain onsite presence with customers to generate assessment and proposal opportunities.
