Job summary

C&C Group plc in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a field technician to service and diagnose power generation systems at customer sites. Qualifications

• 3-5 years field experience or a combination of training and experience recommended
• Electrical Generating Systems Association training/certification recommended

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for service, repair and diagnosing power generation related systems at customer locations
• Includes generators, diesel and gaseous type engines, automatic transfer switches and accessories
• Specialty service areas: Load bank testing, Fuel Polishing, Thermal Imaging
• Handle preventive maintenance inspections per manufacturer requirements and respond to service calls as needed
• May assist with installation of system additions or retrofits
• Serve as backup to other accounts when primary technician is unavailable
• Complete required paperwork electronically, including time sheets and work-orders
• Documentation used to generate reports and invoices
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during non-business hours

Education

3-5 Years Field Experience or equivalent training
