Job summary

Carbon Upcycling Technologies is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians in the United States, specifically welcoming applications from candidates willing to relocate to Tipton, MO. This hands-on role involves servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and commissioning diesel and natural gas generators.

Successful applicants will work independently, performing diagnostics and repairs on mechanical and electrical issues, as well as ensuring professional representation of the company on-site. Applicants should have strong customer service skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in power generation or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of generators, diesel engines, controls, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of AC systems up to 600VAC and DC fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable using diagnostic software and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, email communication, and digital service reporting systems.
• Valid driver's license required, CDL considered an asset or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on diesel and gas gensets.
• Performing inspections, tune ups, preventative maintenance, and commissioning work.
• Troubleshooting AC/DC controls, transfer switches, switchgear, battery chargers, block heaters, and related systems.
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Completing service documentation accurately and professionally.
• Operating service trucks and field equipment safely and efficiently.
• Participating in after hours emergency service work as required.
