Job summary

Ohio CAT, a Caterpillar dealership, invites skilled Field Service Technicians to diagnose, maintain and repair CAT power generation equipment on-site. You will work from a company service truck and address electrical and mechanical issues while delivering top-notch customer support.

The role requires hands-on experience with diesel engines and generators, familiarity with switchgear and control systems, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. Safety and documentation are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus a 2-year technical program focused on diesel or power generation.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• 5 years hands-on experience repairing diesel engines, generators, and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of Caterpillar Power Generation equipment.
• Operate from a fully equipped service truck; service and troubleshoot.
• Utilize CAT ET, SIS, and other diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
• Adhere to safety protocols and documentation standards.
