Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 1) to support testing, maintenance, and basic measurements on power systems. You will assist senior technicians with test equipment setup and removal, perform basic measurements, record data, and help ensure safety and quality in every task.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), basic electrical theory knowledge, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• OSHA 30‑hour, MSHA, NFPA 70‑E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and removing test equipment for various testing activities.
• Perform basic electrical measurements under supervision and record data accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of test equipment; ensure tools in good condition.
• Additional responsibilities to support the organization’s goals as needed.
