Amazon.com Services LLC in New York, NY is seeking a Power Systems Engineer responsible for reliability, safety, and regulatory programs across North American facilities. You will manage arc flash study refreshes, perform QA/QC of SKM power system analyses, and oversee the electrical Lockout/Tagout program across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience performing power system studies for industrial distribution systems.
• 3+ years with SKM Power*Tools (PTW) for modeling, short-circuit, coordination, arc flash.
• Experience QA/QC of power system studies and validating SKM models.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584-2018, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead arc flash study refresh program across North American facilities.
• QA/QC of power system studies and validate data from consultants.
• Coordinate with third-party firms and site teams for data collection.
• Review findings, issue resolutions, and track corrective actions.
• Maintain standardized study review checklists and QA/QC processes.
• Support electrical LOTO program development and maintenance.
• Provide electrical reliability engineering support across facilities.
