Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Power Systems Engineer to support electrical reliability, safety, and regulatory programs across North American operations. You will manage the arc flash study refresh across 200+ facilities and lead QA/QC of power system analyses using SKM Power*Tools.

The role requires 50%+ travel across North America, strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution, and experience in LOTO programs and safety standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years’ experience performing power system studies (Short Circuit, Protective Device Coordination, Arc Flash) for MV/LV distribution.
3+ years with SKM Power*Tools for Windows (PTW).
Experience QA/QC of power system studies, reviewing SKM models and results.
Travel of 50% or more across North America for field assessments.

Responsibilities

Manage the five-year arc flash study refresh program across North American facilities.
Perform QA/QC of power studies using SKM Power*Tools (short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow).
Review studies for NEC/IEEE/NFPA compliance and document findings.
Manage North American electrical LOTO program and related safety procedures.
Provide electrical reliability engineering support and on-call escalation across facilities.
