Amazon.com Services LLC is recruiting a Power Systems Engineer to support electrical reliability, safety, and regulatory programs across North American facilities. The role focuses on arc flash study refresh, QA/QC of SKM models, and LOTO program management.

The candidate will travel 50%+ across North America to assess facilities, validate studies, and implement safety program improvements, contributing to reduced risks and improved reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of power system studies for MV/LV industrial systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on SKM Power*Tools experience.
• Experience QA/QC of power system studies and validating SKM models.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584-2018, IEEE standards, and local codes.
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams and device settings.
• Experience managing multiple engineering projects with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ across North America.

Responsibilities

• Manage the five-year arc flash study refresh program across North American facilities.
• Perform QA/QC of power system studies using SKM Power*Tools.
• Oversee the North American electrical LOTO program and safety standards.
• Develop program metrics and track deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Support electrical reliability engineering and root-cause analyses.
