SE Engineering, PC seeks an entry-level Power System Engineer to join our growing team in North Carolina. You’ll work on real-world projects spanning manufacturing, healthcare, data centers, and water/wastewater, performing power system studies, design, and testing with mentoring from experienced engineers.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with power system analysis, field investigations, and data collection while applying NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and ANSI standards to ensure safe, reliable power

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with power focus.
  • 0–2 years of experience; internships/co-ops count.
  • EIT certification or progress toward it is a plus.
  • Familiarity with power system design tools recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Perform power system analysis, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct power quality testing and onsite field investigations.
  • Support electrical design and system improvement projects.
  • Collect and analyze system data using monitoring equipment.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects involving power system studies, design, troubleshooting, and field testing, with a clear path for professional growth.


What You’ll Do


  • Perform power system analysis, design, and troubleshooting

  • Conduct power quality testing and onsite field investigations

  • Collect and analyze system data using monitoring equipment

What We’re Looking For


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (power focus )

  • 0-2 years of experience (internships/co-ops count!)

  • EIT certification (or working toward it) is a plus

  • Familiarity with power system tools like SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower is a plus

  • Self-motivated with a strong learning agility

  • Effective communication and organizational skills
