Job summary

Qualus invites you to join its Winter 2027 Engineering Boot Camp as a Power Systems Engineer. You’ll be a full-time Engineer I, participate in a structured training program, and gain hands-on substation safety and protection/controls experience.

As you rotate through departments, you’ll perform power system studies, develop study reports, and learn to apply SKM/ETAP/Easypower tools. The program starts January 2027 and offers a full-time employment offer with Qualus upon completion.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited school with focus on power systems.
• Willingness to travel 50-70%.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Develop study reports and communicate results to customers.
• Develop relay protective setpoints and wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate across departments to meet deadlines.
• Maintain up-to-date technical skills in substations and protection.
