Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a four-year accredited institution
• Engineering Technology degree from a four-year accredited institution; PE may be considered
• BS Electrical Engineering with emphasis on power systems preferred
• Engineer I: 0–2 years of experience
• Engineer II: 2–4 years of experience
• Engineer III: 4–6 years of experience
• Sr Engineer: 6+ years of experience
• Preferred: 5+ years in modeling, system analysis and planning of power systems

Responsibilities

• Perform steady-state load flow analysis in the Operational horizon
• Update operational planning models
• Perform transient stability and voltage stability studies using Power World, VSAT, TSAT and SSAT
• Provide technical support to the Transmission Control Center on steady-state and dynamic power system issues
• Interface with load serving entities, regulatory agencies, reliability councils and other transmission providers
• Represent Entergy on industry wide technical working groups
• Assist with storm/emergency restoration efforts as necessary
