AspenTech is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to lead design, deployment, and support of Energy Management System solutions for electric utilities. You will design, troubleshoot, and test system deployments, collaborating with software development and product management teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems coursework, and a Master’s is preferred; travel up to 20% domestically and internationally is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in Power Systems preferred.
• Coursework in Power Systems Analysis and Power Flow required.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Design, integrate, test, and commission advanced control systems for electric utilities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to understand requirements and project plans for AspenTech DGM’s EMS portfolio.
• Deliver training programs to empower customers in effectively utilizing and maintaining their power system applications.
• Provide expert consultation on power system modeling to maximize system value.
• Deliver prompt technical support to troubleshoot issues on live customer systems.
• Meticulously configure and integrate software components to meet contract specifications and perform comprehensive testing with customers.
