Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager - Electrical to lead the Data Center Mission Critical Electrical Design and Analysis Engineering team on greenfield and brownfield data center projects.

You will manage schedules, budgets and quality, mentor staff, and drive business development while coordinating with cross-functional teams. A PE license and up to 20% travel are required; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree with 10+ years total experience, 5 years in hyperscale data centers.
• Data Center Electrical Design and Analysis (Short Circuit Coordination/Arc Flash Studies) expertise.
• PE License required.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to client sites for project/marketing meetings.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; strong writing and coordination across teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules, budgets and quality of deliverables; define scope with Project Managers; assign work and ensure timely delivery.
• Hire, develop and retain staff; promote training opportunities; provide performance feedback and coaching.
• Lead business development; assist with proposals; build client relationships and attend conferences as needed.
• Allocate resources across projects; approve timesheets/expenses; conduct performance appraisals.
• Ensure project goals and unit performance align with company standards and client expectations.
