Job summary

ETAP in Irvine, CA is seeking a Data Engineer specialized in Power Systems to design data transformation workflows and build robust data models.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating across teams to integrate applications, implement API development, and ensure QA compliance. Ideal candidates have ETL, C#, Python, SQL experience and a degree in a relevant field, with U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL pipelines across desktop, web, and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, SQL.
• Experience using AI tools to automate integration workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to write technical reports.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency/work authorization.
• Familiarity with power system analysis software or CAD software.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, IT, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design data transformation workflows for integration of applications.
• Develop data models and map schemas to accurately represent and transport data across different platforms.
• Utilize standard engineering and mathematical concepts and principles in the design, coding, and testing of software components.
• Develop POC, automate workflows and perform API development & testing.
• Perform software verification and validation to meet ETAP QA standards.
