Job summary

ETAP in Irvine, CA is seeking a Data Engineer specialized in Power Systems to design data transformation workflows and build robust data models.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating across teams to integrate applications, implement API development, and ensure QA compliance. Ideal candidates have ETL, C#, Python, SQL experience and a degree in a relevant field, with U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL pipelines across desktop, web, and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, SQL.
• Experience using AI tools to automate integration workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to write technical reports.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency/work authorization.
• Familiarity with power system analysis software or CAD software.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, IT, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design data transformation workflows for integration of applications
• Develop data models and map schemas to accurately represent and transport data across different platforms
• Utilize standard engineering and mathematical concepts and principles in the design, coding, and testing of software components
• Develop POC, automate workflows and perform API development & testing
• Perform software verification and validation to meet ETAP QA standards

Required Qualifications

• Experience with development and testing of ETL pipelines in desktop, web and cloud environments
• Proficiency in C#, Python, SQL, or similar languages
• Experience using AI tools and programming to automate integration workflows
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, including ability to write clear and detailed technical reports
• Ability to adjust to multiple tasks/projects
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency/work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with power system analysis software or CAD software
• Education Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field

Salary Range: 65,000.00 - 108,000.00 USD Annual

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.
