Job summary

ASG Power, a division of Hesco in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, is seeking a hands-on Associate Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll work with Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality to support new product development and existing products.

You’ll help design and manufacture advanced power distribution and industrial control systems, create and maintain electrical schematics and CAD drawings, specify components, generate BOMs, and troubleshoot electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent required.
• Experience with industrial automation, controls, power systems, or related field preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with instrumentation, AC/DC systems, power systems, sensors.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and manufacturing of advanced power distribution and industrial control systems.
• Create, maintain, and update electrical schematics, CAD drawings, and related engineering documentation.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and customer specifications.
• Specify electrical and control components based on circuit requirements and customer needs.
• Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support sourcing of control and power components and work with vendors.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, AC/DC electrical systems, power systems, sensors, and related technologies.
• Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Use electrical test equipment to support troubleshooting, inspection, and validation activities.
• Partner with Quality on product inspection and testing.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, vendors, and customers to resolve technical issues.
• Help develop and maintain manufacturing and quality procedures.
