Lumicity, a growing electrical engineering consultancy, seeks a Senior Power Systems Engineering Manager to lead and grow its electrical engineering team and deliver complex power distribution projects across North America. The role blends hands-on engineering with leadership, client interaction, and business development.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in industrial power distribution, a PE license in Ohio or reciprocity, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial power distribution design (ideally 10–20 years).
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio or reciprocity.
• Experience leading and developing a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
• Extensive knowledge of medium- and low-voltage industrial power distribution systems.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC) requirements and industrial electrical safety practices.

We are partnering with a growing, full-service electrical engineering consultancy specializing in industrial power distribution systems across North America.

As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced Senior Power Systems Engineering Manager to lead and develop its electrical engineering team while supporting the delivery of complex industrial power distribution projects This is an excellent opportunity for a technically accomplished power systems professional looking to combine hands-on engineering expertise with team leadership, client engagement, and business development.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial power distribution design, ideally 10–20 years.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio or a state with reciprocity.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
• Extensive knowledge of medium- and low-voltage industrial power distribution systems.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC) requirements and industrial electrical safety practices.
• Experience with power system studies, including short-circuit analysis, arc flash assessments, protective device coordination, grounding, and power quality.
• Proficiency with SKM modelling software and AutoCAD.
• Strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with industrial customers.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship now or in the future.
• Competitive salary of $130,000–$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
