Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from ABET-accredited program; master's degree considered in lieu.
• Minimum 2 years engineering experience.
• Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• 2-4 years utility experience.
• Experience in power distribution and load flows.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Ability to self-manage and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering expertise in identification, analysis, and resolution of routine problems.
• Assists in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities.
• Prepares technical reports, calculations, and sketches associated with routine problems.
• Maintains distribution system model in Cyme to support system resources and reliability.
• Performs multi-year distribution system studies to identify future capacity needs.
• Initiates and sponsors distribution and transmission capital projects.
• Supports internal organizations with technical guidance.
• Evaluates impact of significant load additions.
