Job summary

TDK-Lambda Americas is seeking a hands-on Electronics Repair Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test AC/DC power supplies and other electronic products. You will work at component and system levels, using schematics and test equipment to ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, diagnosing failures, performing repairs, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years repairing power supplies, electronic assemblies, or similar products.
• Strong understanding of analog electronics and AC/DC circuits.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on soldering, desoldering, and rework experience.
• Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming power supplies and electronics for defects.
• Troubleshoot failures at component, board, subassembly, and system levels.
• Diagnose with multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and loads.
• Read electrical schematics and BOMs to identify issues.
• Repair or replace components such as capacitors, resistors, diodes, MOSFETs, and boards.
• Perform soldering, desoldering, and rework as needed.
• Test repaired products for performance, safety, and quality.
• Document repairs, test results, and parts usage.
