Job summary

TDK-Lambda Americas is seeking a hands-on Electronics Repair Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and test AC/DC power supplies at the San Diego depot. You will work at the component and system levels, reading schematics and using test equipment to ensure quality and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include soldering, rework, documenting repairs, and collaborating with Engineering and Quality to reduce failures and improve processes. 3–5 years in electronics repair preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; technical electronics education preferred.
• 3–5 years repairing power supplies or electronic assemblies required.
• Able to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming power supplies for defects and failure signs.
• Troubleshoot at component, board, subassembly, and system levels.
• Read schematics and BOMs; repair components and assemblies.
• Solder, desolder, and perform rework; document results and parts used.
