Job summary

TDK-Lambda Americas is seeking a hands-on Electronics Repair Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and test AC/DC power supplies and related electronics in a repair depot environment.

You will use schematics and test equipment to identify failures, perform component-level repair, and verify performance, safety, and quality while documenting results and communicating with Engineering and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience repairing power supplies or similar.
• Strong analog electronics and AC/DC knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Hands-on soldering and rework experience.
• Experience with test/measurement equipment.
• Detail-oriented with safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming power supplies for defects.
• Troubleshoot failures at component to system level.
• Diagnose with test equipment like multimeters, scopes.
• Read schematics, BOMs, and technical docs.
• Repair or replace components and perform rework.
• Test repaired products for safety and performance.
• Document repairs and test results.
• Identify recurring failures with Eng/QA/Prod teams.
• Follow ESD controls and safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce repair time.
