Job summary

Wholesale Electric Supply Co Of Hou in Houston, TX seeks a Power Solutions Group Manager to lead a team of technical sales, engineering, and quotation professionals. You will prepare competitive quotations and proposals for power distribution products, including switchgear, switchboards, and drives, while guiding project opportunities.

You will foster relationships with customers, EPCs, manufacturers, and internal teams to drive profitability and project execution.

Qualifications

5–10 years of electrical distribution or related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or related roles.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Ability to obtain TWIC Card and required safety certifications.
Pass drug/background checks as required for site access.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical sales, engineering, and quotation professionals.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, EPC firms, manufacturer partners, and internal teams.
Prepare and oversee quotations and technical proposals for power distribution products.
Review project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements for compliance and risk mitigation.
Coordinate with customers, manufacturers, and suppliers for pricing, lead times, and resources.
Monitor team performance, pipelines, and key business metrics.
Identify market opportunities and strategic partnerships to support growth.
