Job summary

WHC Energy Services, LLC seeks a Health & Safety Manager for the Power sector to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of H&S programs across projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and client expectations.

The role partners with operations and project teams to coach on safe work practices, conduct risk assessments, investigations, and develop corrective actions; travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in health and safety in oil & gas construction.
• 5 years in safety management for power/renewable projects.
• Experience leading H&S teams.
• Experience with incident investigations, audits, risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain standardized H&S practices across projects.
• Lead and mentor the H&S team; recruit and onboard.
• Monitor and report H&S performance; analyze trends.
• Conduct hazard assessments, inspections, audits, investigations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Liaise with regulators and clients; strengthen relationships.
• Provide H&S guidance during project planning and execution.
