The YMCA of Central New York is seeking a Power Scholars Teacher in Syracuse, NY, to support summer learning for low-income children. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
Valid New York elementary, reading and/or special education teaching certification.
Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably with elementary children.
In-depth knowledge of subject area and experience working with children.
Excellent communication (both verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
