Zions Bancorporation, N.A. is seeking a Power and Project Finance Associate in Los Angeles, CA to support origination, analysis, and execution of power project lending opportunities. You will perform credit analyses, build financial models, and help manage a portfolio of existing loans.

Responsibilities include due diligence, loan documentation reviews, and coordination with deal teams. Strong Excel modeling, communication skills, and 4+ years in related lending are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in project financing, commercial lending, or investment banking.
• Experience with power sector lending preferred.
• Strong Excel-based financial modeling skills.
• Ability to supervise junior bankers and manage multiple demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence, financial modeling, and analysis, identifying key risks and supporting loan structuring for new deals.
• Provide analytical, underwriting and marketing support during origination and execution of lending opportunities.
• Review loan documentation and coordinate lead arranging opportunities through deal closing.
• Maintain accurate risk ratings and monitor borrower reporting and amendments.
• Travel as required and support junior staff development.
