Job summary

Yates Construction seeks a Project Director to provide overall management for large power projects. You will lead the project team, manage budgets, schedules, and client relations, and ensure safety and quality compliance across the program.

Interacting with staff at all levels, you will drive preconstruction, procurement, and contract negotiations while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred; substitution possible for related education or experience.
• Minimum 8 years of construction management experience.
• Minimum 12 years of industry experience.
• Experience on projects valued at $100MM or more.
• PM certification (PMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management for large projects and lead the project team.
• Oversee budget, costs, schedule, and performance against plan.
• Develop and enforce safety, QA/QC, and site logistics plans.
• Coordinate with owners and subcontractors; manage client relations.
• Lead preconstruction and close-out activities and prepare status reports.
• Develop CPM schedule with project team and communicate updates.
