Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a hands-on Techno-functional Analyst with deep Microsoft Power Platform expertise to design, configure, and develop custom Power Platform solutions for client projects in the US. You will support the MPP application, collaborate with leadership, and present to C-level stakeholders.

Onsite presence and travel up to 25% are expected. You will drive end-to-end Power Platform implementations, deliver data-driven solutions, conduct trainings, and stay current with Power Platform

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CRM development experience.
• Ability to commute onsite to the client or travel up to 25%.
• Bachelor's degree (4-year college).
• Experience designing complex data models.
• Relational database concepts knowledge (intermediate-advanced).
• Experience with out-of-the-box connectors for Power Apps/Power Automate.
• Experience in Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps with Dataverse/SharePoint/back-end.
• Knowledge of writing technical requirements and test scripts; programming language exposure.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical users.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS/PaaS environments and Power Platform CoE governance.

Responsibilities

• Drive Power Platform implementations through all project phases from discovery to deployment.
• Identify client requirements in sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Deliver services using PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams, and custom integrations.
• Provide hands-on design and implementation of Power Platform solutions.
• Conduct end-user training and create knowledge transfer docs.
• Automate business processes with Power Apps and Power Automate; create data visualizations.
• Ensure high-quality, bug-free development per coding standards with QA collaboration.
• Participate in daily scrums and provide status reports.
• Stay up-to-date on Power Platform updates and roadmap features.

What You Will Do:

We are looking for a hands-on Techno-functional Analyst with deep knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, demonstrated experience on Power Apps to design, configure and develop custom solutions in Microsoft Power platform. The candidate will take an active role in supporting and building on the MPP application. The candidate will have excellent presentation, communication, leadership, and client development skills to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups, and/or the board of directors. The candidate should have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Microsoft Power Platform implementations through all project phases including discovery, definition, build, test, and deploy
• Identify the client's sales, marketing, and customer service requirements through discovery meetings
• Delivering services and solutions for clients using Microsoft's PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations
• Provide hands-on technical expertise to design and implement Power Platform based solutions satisfying customer requirements.
• Conduct end-user training and create and maintain knowledge transfer documentation
• Automate business processes with Power Apps and Power Automate; outputs will include data visualization and low code applications
• Responsible for high quality, bug-free development as per the coding standards in close collaboration and interaction with other members of the development/QA team
• Participate in daily project scrum meetings and provide a daily personal status report
• Will be proactive in staying up to date on the latest updates to the Power Platform, as well as future roadmap features announced in Microsoft's wave plans

What You Will Need:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CRM development experience
• Selected Candidate must be able to commute onsite to the client as needed or travel up to 25%
• Must have a Bachelor's degree (4yr college degree)
• Experience in designing complex common data models
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relational database concepts
• Experience in using OOTB connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate
• Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model
• Knowledge and experience with writing technical requirements, test scripts and knowledge of software programming languages and technologies.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and nontechnical users
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform technical solutions
• Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
• Experience with and a good understanding of the Power Platform CoE and governance components

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience in "Big 4" or equivalent established consulting firm and/or Microsoft Gold partner highly desired
• BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience with public sector clients preferred
• Experience with Agile or Hybrid-Agile methodology

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
